BACKGROUND
Block Multifamily Group enlisted the services of DHI with its apartment communities spreading from Indiana to Texas.
CHALLENGE
DHI was challenged to inspect 11 Block Multifamily Group apartment communities in order to determine if damages were present. Then, the team was tasked with negotiating with the insurance company on the claims to be processed and paid to each community.
SOLUTION & RESULTS
DHI found damages at four of the 11 properties. While the claims process is lengthy, DHI has recovered $800,000 in approved claims for one apartment community. Further, the team worked with the insurance company to provide the proper evidence and paperwork while keeping BLOCK Multifamily Group in the loop of communication. With three more claims to be approved, DHI\'s partnership has already proven its value to the company.
